NJ, NY!

Ah, so the annual New Jersey vacation is here again, and of course, with the annual day trip to New York. We kicked off summer with Maggie's yearly Fourth of July party with all of our favorite family and friends. We really got in the spirit of America this year!
Like every other year, we spent much of our time at 23rd Street or Island Beach State Park, driving the jeeps onto the sand and claiming a spot for the day. Kelly bought a pizza slice floaty at the beginning of the summer, and although it wasn't the easiest item to transport to the beach, it was a ton of fun!
When we weren't at the beach, we were watching sunsets at the bay, hanging out at home watching tv and laughing, taking late night bike rides to Charlie's and eating ice cream on the beach, or riding roller coasters in the Heights with our family (including the slingshot drop... two times)!!
We even took our annual day trip to New York City to watch the Broadway show, Kinky Boots... Incredible!! And while we were there, Abbey, Kelly, and I visited Times Square and the Empire State Building before meeting with our cousin, Kyle, for a sushi dinner in the city!
My mom and I also visited our other family members, Michael, Katie and their kids, for a barbecue at their house.
SUCH FUN!! New Jersey is one of my favorite vacations of the entire year, just because I spend so many hours creating new memories with my CRAZY family. We enjoy all of our annual traditions, and continue to make new ones each time we return.
